Meet Carl Hampson
For Carl Hampson, beekeeping began as a backyard hobby and soon became a lifelong calling. What started with a single hive in 2009 has grown into Hampson Honey - a family-run business built on passion, purpose, and respect for the bees.
A farmer at heart, Carl spends his days travelling across Australia’s pristine bushlands in search of untouched floral landscapes where his bees can thrive. Guided by his motto, “Look after the bees and they will look after us,” every jar of Hampson Honey reflects that care - raw, single-origin, and 100% Australian.
Alongside his wife, Karin, and their three boys, Carl has created a brand that celebrates ethical beekeeping and genuine family values - from hive to home.
A true expression of how honey should be: pure, honest, and made with heart.
We’ve always believed that natural health & a healthy ecosystem starts with the hive. And because we rely on the richness of its gifts, it’s only fair we give back - to the pollinators who make it possible, to the local beekeepers we proudly collaborate with, and to the communities we serve.
That’s why with every jar of our Manuka Honey sold, we've pledged to donate a native tree to help restore healthy habitats and protect their future. Our commitment to a better future extends to our special collaborations with local beekeepers, helping to support both native tree planting and stronger futures for the people caring for our bees.
