Get well sooner: A recipe to get you on your feet fast

While COVID-19 has dominated the headlines for so long, we might have forgotten that many people are still experiencing the common cold, sinus infections and good old influenza.

The key ingredients of this unique winter remedy are common foods; garlic, ginger and  honey. We like to use Manuka Honey (like our Natural Life™ Manuka Honey 85+ MGO), as it has greater healing properties.

We add an extra level of health with a few drops of liquid propolis. Propolis not food, but is another natural compound sharing all the healing properties of the super foods in this healing elixir.

What are the healing properties of these foods?

How to make it:

  1. Grate the ginger and garlic and add these into the teapot
  2. Add the boiling water, followed by 1 tsp Manuka Honey. Give it a stir and allow it to melt completely
  3. Add the lemon juice
  4. Add 5-10 drops of Propolis
  5. Leave it all in the pot to steep
  6. Pour through a tea strainer into your cup and drink up!

How to drink it:

We recommend slowly sipping your tea throughout the day until the batch is finished. You might find the garlic a bit much at first, but the honey and lemon help it go down easily!

You might have this for one or two days in a row and find you feel much better.
